I have too many injuries to do CrossFit

Have you used this Excuse?

2) I have too many injuries to do CrossFit

I understand very well that with injuries it does make it more challenging to exercise. I too at age 42 have had many injuries. None of which were from CrossFit training. I have had back surgery from two herniated discs (L-4 & L-5), I have torn the meniscus in both knees and torn my right hip flexor. If anyone understands pain and injuries its me. Even with these injuries I am still able to do CrossFit training. I may not do the RX version at times or compete with the rest of my members but I can still train by modifying the movements to fit my needs.

I have an extensive background in post injury fitness and rehabilitation as I worked for a chiropractor for 7 years and 27 total years as personal trainer and coach. This experience and knowledge allows me to customize the CrossFit workouts to each member in my gym based on their specific injuries and needs.

At CrossFit Thoroughbreds we are lucky enough to also have Dr. Brian Bochette as one of our CrossFit Coaches.

Dr. Brian Bochette is a Florida licensed Physical Therapist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance from Florida Gulf Coast University, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Florida Gulf Coast University, and a Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida.

He enjoys sharing his passion for human movement with his patients and students, serving as adjunct faculty in the areas of anatomy, palpations, and biomechanics at Florida Gulf Coast University. Brian began CrossFit in 2010 and immediately fell in love with the variety and functionality of the programming. Brian has become an incredible asset to CrossFit Thoroughbreds and its members.

We also have 6 more very experienced and qualified CrossFit Coaches on staff to serve our members.

Come in to receive 1 FREE Day of training and 50% OFF your first month of CrossFit training.
