CrossStretch is coming to CFTB

CrossStretch, like Yoga, is an exercise or practice that brings balance to each individual. Wether it is flexibility through the asanas, breathing by building vo2 max (lung capacity), or strength through body awareness. Balance is enhanced by moving slowly through poses which builds injury prevention.

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity levels. Each individual is different in their high intensity and on the yoga mat is where you learn more about yourself and where you are in exercise level.

Learning our weakneses makes us stronger.

You may feel inadequate for CrossStretch because you can't touch your toes but most of us couldn't do a pull up or a push up when we started CrossFit. That still didn't stop us from CrossFiting!

We tap into chemical release when doing high intensity exercise and it is only natural to let the body process and let go of healthy tension through stretching and breathing.

Science proves that CrossStretch (yoga) enhances focus and mental clarity, making it the perfect compliment to such a life strengthening practice as CrossFit. Both together makes us SMART about taking care of our bodies.

As group fitness instructor I've taught everything from Aqua Aerobics, Zumba to Spin, etc. I'm a local runner, CrossFitter and mom of 4 and at the end of the day I end up on a Yoga mat...greatful for all the things my body can acomplish and has yet to experience.

Join me beginning June 26th, 2013 at 9:00am for CrossStretch.
