FREE Training for Lee County Students

FREE Training for Lee County Students

Evolved Athletics is proud to announce the beginning of it's Non-Profit 501c3 EA Youth Club program for Lee County students.

EA Youth Club, Commissioner Ray Judah and the Lee County School District have joined forces to challenge our youth physically and to also reward them for maintaining above average scholastics, volunteering in the community, and exibiting positive lifestyle values such as: community building, leadership, dedication and self confidence.

We can all play a part in the reduction and prevention of disease and lifestyle based societal ills through programs like this. Let's begin building towards positve statistical trends in the future and inspiring examples of healthy, productive students today.

Through the Crossfit training methodology the EA Youth Club will give our youth dynamic and sustainable tools. Participants will be rewarded for athletic, scholastic, and volunteering achievements. This is all accomplished as a 501C3 non-profit organization, with public and private sector sponsorship and donations, with the goal of no monetary barriers to any student's participation. This will be accomplished by partnering with all relevant public and private sector organizations and businesses to bring the opportunity to any willing student.

VISION: EA Youth Club
To bring area youth into a program that promotes respect for self, peers, and to every day role models through appropriately challenging exercise in a dynamic environment(s). "EA Youth" will be supported and encouraged while being challenged to constantly set and attain achievable goals.

The personal health metrics pointing towards these goals will be closely monitored, recorded, and analyzed. The attainment of these goals will coincide with preparation for competitive environments where the student's skills can be show-cased and rewarded. This environment will be offered with full tuition subsidization through donations and sponsorships from the public and private sector.

Private Gifts:
The EA Youth Club is a 501C3 organization that will also accept donations or gifts from private individuals. This is a one of a kind opportunity to change an individual life, dramatically impact a community and contribute to the health of our nation. Please contact us if you are interested in giving a named or anonymous gift.

Prerequisite Student Requirements:

Academic:
While the EA Youth Club program will initially accept any student, regardless of grade point average, it is mandatory that each participant be at a 3.0 or above grade level within one semester of program entry. If this criterion is not satisfied the student will be unable to test into the next skill level and be put on a half semester academic probation. If the student is unable to attain a mid-term projected GPA of 3.0 their participation will be suspended until they are able to satisfy the criteria.

It is recognized that extenuating circumstances play a dramatic role in academic performance and severe and/or traumatic instances will be taken into account when enforcing this requirement.

Safety and Conduct:
Each participant and their legal guardian must sign a personal conduct agreement and liability waiver for the EA Youth Club program. The personal conduct agreement is meant to explicitly convey ethical and physical expectations. The program is to provide a supportive, positive, and safe environment. This is enabled by the prerequisite agreement by the student and their guardian of full compliance and commitment to the program.

Program Structure: The goal of the EA Youth Club program is to engage Lee County youth in a sustainable activity and lifestyle that will dramatically reduce their statistical pre-disposition towards increasingly common societal ills such as depression, obesity, diabetes, back and posture problems, drug use, etc.

Student Progress Measurement and Tracking:
The progress of the student during the course of the program is measured in a variety of ways to give a more complete picture of true physical fitness as defined by Crossfit. All areas of fitness are equally important and must be tracked. This will be done by methodical recording and reporting of all Crossfit areas of fitness:

Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance - The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen.

Stamina - The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy.

Strength - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.

Flexibility - the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint.

Power - The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time.

Speed - The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.

Coordination - The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.

Agility - The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.

Balance - The ability to control the placement of the body's center of gravity in relation to its support base.

Accuracy - The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.

Each student will be closely monitored and meticulously coached on proper form and technique. Mastery in this metric supersedes all others. In this manner the safety of the program is ensured and the value is internalized by the student.

Testing: For more information visit: http://user274080.websitewizard.com/files/unprotected/EAY-Sponsorship-Packet-112309.pdf

Students must earn testing eligibility with physical readiness and also volunteer credits. Each student must volunteer in community service activities for the following amount of hours per level:

5 hours = advance to Freshman
10 hours = advance to Sophomore
15 hours = advance to Junior
20 hours = advance to Senior

Good health is a very important means towards the holistic end of good citizenship and the pursuit of the American dream. Our posterity deserves this right and our times demand action by those with the capacity.

Join us. EA Youth Club is not just a workout. EA Youth Club is a family. A family born from the genius and sweat of both everyday and legendary heroes. Our youth need actionable inspiration and role models to help lead them towards their potential.

Thank you for your interest and support. Should any questions be unanswered please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Warm Regards,
Evolved Athletics Staff
